I am a general Classicist educated at Florida State University (BA Classics and History 1999, MA Classics 2002), the University of Florida (PhD 2008), and the American School of Classical Studies (Lockhart Fellow 2006). My main area of research is Greek history (especially the interaction between Greek and Eastern cultures). Other interests include Greek archaeology, Near Eastern history and  civilization, and Greek epigraphy. Since 2008 I have been an Adjunct Lecturer of Classics at University of Florida where I teach a broad variety of courses on ancient civilization and Greek and Latin languages.
