Nicholas Kontaridis

Nicholas C. Kontaridis was born in Lemnos, Greece, and graduated with a degree in Political Science at the Pantios University of Athens.

He earned his Master and Education Specialist Degrees in Multilingual/ Multicultural Education on sholarships in 1989 at the Florida State University. In addition, he has received certificates of completion from the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki (Law School), the Brigham Young University (Political Science), and St. Michael’s College (History) and Hermes Accounting School in Athens (Accounting).

He has published articles, translations, critiques, and poems in several Greek Magazines and Newspapers in the U.S.A., Canada and Greece.

He was appointed adjunct Professor of Greek Studies at the University of Florida in 1995.

His courses include Modern Greek Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced, Greek Literature in the Byzantine Era, Modern Greek History and Literature.
